Areas of Specialisation: Lucy is a conscientious and highly professional Clinical Psychologist who has worked with clients across the lifespan. She has a non-judgmental approach and has experience working with international clients with many different values and beliefs.

Her approach is tailored to the needs of the individual, working one-on-one and with families to get the optimal therapeutic outcome. She uses a number of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. She is particularly focused on helping clients overcome and adapt to major changes occurring in their lives and personal circumstances.

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of Edinburgh, UK
  • HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist and BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologist in the UK

Previous Experience: Lucy has significant experience in multiple community and residential settings in the UK. Her most recent role was as a Highly Specialist Senior Clinical Psychologist in a private community clinic focusing on clients with adjustment disorders coming to terms with issues such as old age, serious illness, bereavement and divorce.

She has coupled this community work with hospital work for patients with neuropsychological presentations. She also has experience in academia and research, lecturing on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology courses at The University of Edinburgh, The University of Glasgow and at Newcastle University, on topics including adjustment in later life, inpatient working, stress and distress behaviors.
