Sara has a broad range of experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. She completed her training in the UK in 2013, and has worked in community clinics and hospital Urgent Care settings.

As a trusted Family Medicine Consultant she has spent much of her career managing a caseload of injuries, infections, illnesses, family planning, preventive health lifestyle management and chronic diseases. She also has a special interest in Sports & Exercise medicine, having been a competitive runner.

Professional Qualifications and Registrations:

  • Degree in Human Biology from Loughborough University (UK)
  • Degree in Medicine from Leicester University Medical School (UK)
  • Registered Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK)
  • Registered Doctor in the State of Qatar
  • Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine from Bath University (UK)

Previous Experience:

Sara spent six years in the Urgent Care Centre of the Princess Royal Hospital in London, where she was the Lead Medical Officer overseeing a team of GPs dealing with acute illnesses and injuries. She also worked in the same area of London in various community National Health Service medical practices.

Sara joins The International Medical Centre from Hamad Medical Corporation, where her assignments included providing a home visiting service for chronically and acutely unwell patients in the community, as well as extensive work at a local emergency department.
