Anita is a Consultant Pediatrician recognised by the Irish Medical Council, the UK General Medical Council and the Greek Medical Council.

She completed her training in Ireland in multiple hospital settings including General Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency, Neonatology, Pediatric Rheumatology, Pediatric Allergy, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Dermatology and Pediatric Surgery. She enjoys working with children and families and is excited to provide Pediatric healthcare in Qatar.

In addition to her General Pediatric training, Anita was recognised as a Fellow by the Royal College of Pediatrics & Child Health in the UK. She worked in the Pediatric Dermatology department of the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital treating patients with a broad range of skin disorders including infantile hemangiomas (strawberry marks) and other vascular anomalies, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo and many severe or unusual skin conditions. She has also presented (oral and poster presentations) at various national and international medical conferences including the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology (ESPD) and the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA).

  • Certificate of Medical Specialisation in Pediatrics (Greece)
  • Completion of sub-specialty training in Pediatric Dermatology (UK)
  • Level 7 Diploma in Injectable Therapies, MATA, Harley St., London

Previous Experience:

Anita began her Pediatric training in Greece and completed her training in leading training hospitals in Ireland including Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, the National Maternity Hospital and the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital.

Having completed her Consultant training in General Pediatrics, Anita joins The International Medical Centre from Great Ormond Street Hospital in London where she was working as a Clinical Fellow in the Pediatric Dermatology department.

Anita speaks fluently in English, Greek and Albanian.
