Nimo provides specialist psychological therapy with particular expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Couples Therapy.

Nimo has particular extensive experience in treating Trauma / PTSD and also works with individuals as well as couples with other emotional and behavioural challenges including depression, anxiety, stress-related problems, phobias, BDD, panic, eating disorders and ADHD according to the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) UK guidelines. Nimo also has extensive experience with Perinatal mental health and supporting those with chronic physical long term health conditions such as diabetes, chronic pain and IBS.

She is passionate about increasing access to mental health and empowering people with robust psychological tools / strategies in order to cultivate the confidence to transform their lives.

Professional Qualifications and Registrations:

  • Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Brunel University (UK)
  • Post-Graduate Clinical CBT training from Kings College London and University College London (UK) 
  • Accreditation from the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (UK)
  • Post-Graduate clinical training in Couples Therapy from Royal Holloway (UK)   

Previous Experience:

Nimo has 10 years of experience in the National Health Service in the UK, most recently as Senior CBT Therapist and Clinical Supervisor in a specialist community service in London. This has given her exposure to helping people with a broad range of complex mental health issues in diverse communities.

Nimo also has experience as a lecturer and deputy clinical lead, as well as designing & delivering corporate coaching / well-being programmes. Most recently, Nimo has been working as a Psychologist within the aviation sector.
