Patrick has advanced clinical training in multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Performance Psychology, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. He works with clients in individual, family & couples therapy, and particularly enjoys working with teenagers and adults. Patrick’s areas of specialty include anger, addiction, depression, anxiety & stress, self-esteem and performance.

Professional Qualifications and Registrations:

  • Bachelors Degree in Psychology graduating with honours from the University of Pittsburgh, USA
  • Research Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Australian Catholic University, Sydney, Australia
  • Masters of Clinical Psychology from Australian Catholic University, Sydney, Australia
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

Previous Experience:

Patrick has experience in multiple settings including hospitals, community mental health and youth mental health, crisis support units, and as an in-house Clinical Psychologist at the University of Technology Sydney. Most recently, Patrick worked in some of Sydney’s top premium, private clinics. He also published clinical research during the COVID-19 pandemic about its impact on mental health and addiction and has featured as an expert psychologist for several media platforms across Australia.
