Suzanne is specialised as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, who also employs a range of other therapies including Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Based Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. Suzanne has more than 15 years of work experience with treating a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, stress and adjustment issues. She also has extensive experience in supporting clients with a wide variety of trauma related problems. She works individually and in groups, depending on clients wishes and needs.

Suzanne’s main focus as a Psychologist is to get people to the point where they experience or re-gain control of their lives, dealing with the challenges it has presented / still presents.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands)
  • Masters Degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands)
  • Specialisation Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and member of the Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in The Netherlands
  • Psychologist NIP designation in The Netherlands

Previous Experience:

Suzanne earned her Masters degree in 2000, and has been working since as a Psychologist / Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in various clinical settings with adults and in workforce mental health programs. Most recently she was the lead Therapist and Manager of her own mental health & well-being practice which established four successful branches in The Netherlands.
