Approach

Speech Therapy involves a range of techniques to assess speech and language disorders and develop communication skills in children, including:

  • Play therapy (using pictures or objects)
  • Phonological awareness exercises
  • Language, vocabulary & grammar exercises
  • Articulation & pronunciation therapy
  • Oral motor skills therapy

It is very common for children to develop their speech at a different pace from others, and to face challenges with communication or pronunciation.

Our highly trained Speech Therapists will conduct a thorough assessment to identify any issues, set goals with the parents and then work closely with the child to develop their speech skills. The Speech Therapists aim to make sure the sessions are enjoyable, engaging and results-oriented. We involve the parents and wider family every step of the way.
