Zahrah is specialised in working with children with communication difficulties. Her patients can be as young as 2 years of age or as old as 18. The range of issues treated includes articulation disorders, cognitive communication disorders, expressive disorders, fluency disorders and more. Severity can range from mild lisping to complex stutters to mutism.

Every patient journey starts with a thorough assessment to understand the issues, leading to a step-by-step treatment plan. Zahrah’s passion for improving the communication skills of her patients comes across in her sessions, which she aims to make fun and engaging for the children. She also includes parents and the family to get the best possible understanding and outcome.

  • Health & Social Care Level 3 Extended Diploma (UK)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (UK)

  • Certified member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (UK)

Previous Experience:

Zahrah joined The International Medical Centre from her role as a Speech & Language Therapist and Clinical Supervisor at the London Children’s Practice, a premium private clinic in Central London, UK. She has worked in a variety of different settings including nursery schools, neurological teams within the National Health Service and community special needs centres.
